Worldwide Recycling Equipment Sales, LLC recently sold a Mettler Toledo Belt Scale. The belt scale is an in-motion scale that is used for weighing large packages such as boxes, cartons, cases, bags or sacks for general industrial environments. The scale delivers an accurate weight reading as the products pass along the belt. The belt scale has a heavy duty frame, enabling it to withstand the impact of heavy packages. This makes it the perfect product for someone needing a scale that can survive in a tough environment.
This model uses a PANTHER brand scale terminal. The PANTHER terminal provides weight information, unit switching and data output. It has two built-in setpoints that can be used to back up automated control systems or for simple batching applications. PANTHER models also include vibration rejection and a noise filtering system that can be adjusted to minimize response time and get stable weights, even with a mixer or agitator mounted on the scale. This terminal can store two setpoints with preact or four target weights and can tare values.
The belt scale is powered by a 1/3 hp, 115-230/460 volt electric motor. It comes equipped with an 18” wide, 30” long belt and can load cells with an output of 2MV/V at 250 lbs.
