Portable Soil Remediation System (Fluidized Bed) with Vapor Recovery Unit - includes 1 calcine chamber (fluidized bed incinerator) with 9 burners to provide 4.6 MMbtu/hr, plus one Eclipse Ratiomatic Model 100 RM burner rated at 1 MMBtu/hr. Ratiomatic burners produce low NOx, CO and aldehydes. Of the 9 burners, 5 are positioned in the lower part and 4 in the upper part of the chamber. The burners have anticipated temperatures of 1200 F. The system contains 1 Flex-Kleen Model 36-WXTC-140XL baghouse with a volume of 2600 acfm, a cloth area of 602 sq ft and a ratio of 4.32/1. A complete vapor recovery unit with oil/water separator is included. This system is excellent for treating soil with high levels of hydrocarbons, sludge, drilling muds and many other materials. The entire unit comes mounted on 3 trailers. The soil remediation system comes fully equipped with controls and is in good condition.
This unit is a fully-mobile thermal desorption system that fits onto 3 flatbed trucks, making it ideal for urban projects. The system consists of a gravity heating chamber that indirectly heats the soil through a tube and shell system, combined with a fluidizing bed. The soil is fed into the heating chamber from the top and gravitates to the air-sealed discharge unit. The vaporized gasses are pulled through a baghouse with 400 filtration bags and a self-cleaning system that removes all particles still remaining in the gasses. The gasses are then cooled and condensed at 200 F and the fluids are separated from the gasses. The remaining gasses are used as fuel and the fluid is sent to an oil/water separation tank.
This unit can also process mercury and other metals.
